Overview of position:

FEDITC is seeking a Acquisition Lead (AL) to work in Tampa, FL. A United States Citizenship and an active Top Secret (TS) with SCI eligibility and Counterintelligence Polygraph is required to be considered for this position. This is an upcoming opportunity contingent on contract award.

Responsibilities:

The Acquisition Lead will be responsible for overseeing all acquisition, contractual, and financial planning activities supporting the EAGLE-I Task Order. The AL will drive procurement strategies, coordinate with government contracting offices, and ensure all acquisition activities adhere to USSOCOM and DoD regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead acquisition planning, cost estimation, contract administration, and procurement management
• Coordinate with government stakeholders on pre-award, award, and post-award activities
• Develop acquisition strategies that support ISR and special operations mission requirements
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and USSOCOM-specific acquisition policies
• Conduct budget planning, spend analysis, and forecasting
• Support proposal development and technical evaluation of subcontractor submissions

Qualifications

Required Experience/Skills:

• U.S. Citizen; must possess an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility
• Minimum 5 years of DoD or Joint acquisition experience within the last 10 years
• At least one project involving intelligence or special operations support elements
• Proven experience managing acquisition life cycles for large, complex programs
• Strong understanding of USSOCOM mission sets and operational environment

Desired Experience / Skills:

• 5+ years of technical proposal analysis experience
• Experience engaging with USSOCOM contracting activities and special operations communities

Education:

• Minimum of bachelor's degree in Acquisition and Contract Management, Business Administration, or related field. 

Clearance:

• Top Secret (TS) with SCI eligibility and Counter Intelligence Polygraph
• Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check.
• Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
