Job Details: As Plant Manager, you will serve as the operational leader of our facility—overseeing production, planning, quality, inventory, maintenance, and workforce relations. You will ensure that the plant operates safely, efficiently and in compliance with all regulations while delivering on customer commitments and aligning with our strategic goals. You’ll coach and guide production supervisors and team leads, embed a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and maintain the legacy of operational excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead by example to maintain a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment.
- Oversee all environmental permits and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Manage departmental budgets, costs, and expenditures to support plant profitability.
- Ensure production schedules, inventory levels, and on-time customer deliveries meet company standards.
- Partner with Engineering and Maintenance to plan long-term capacity, equipment upgrades, and capital investments.
- Direct warehouse operations to ensure accurate, on-time shipments.
- Conduct internal ISO audits and maintain audit readiness.
- Drive process improvements and cost-saving initiatives that deliver measurable results.
- Develop, train, and cross-train team members to strengthen organizational capability and support growth.
Required Education / Experience / Skills
- Degree in Business Management, Engineering or related field
- 5-10 Years previous experience in Plant and Operations Management
- Proven Management and Leadership Experience
- ISO Knowledge / Experience
- Proficient Verbal and Written English Communication Skills
Preferred Qualifications
- ERP/MRP Systems Expertise
- Capital Project Management
- Labor Relations Experience
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, or PMP certification a plus
