Job Summary: Pembroke Hill is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Athletic Trainer to oversee our middle school athletics program. The Assistant Athletic Trainer will be responsible for event coverage, injury prevention, athlete care, game and practice preparation, and assisting the full time Athletic Trainer, as needed.
Key Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, Master’s preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Athletic Trainer
BOC Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and State License/Registration
Valid Drivers license and ability to travel with teams as assigned
Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification
Schedule: This position follows a school year schedule, August pre-season through May, until postseason play ends. Daily schedule is 2:00pm- end of all athletic practices and/or contests. During the school year, there are three school vacations – one week at Thanksgiving, two weeks in December, and two weeks in March. The Assistant Trainer must report 1 week prior to MSHSAA fall starting date and work 5 of the 10 weekdays of each break.
Compensation: Compensation will be based on a competitive norm influenced by area and peer schools, using years of experience and the highest completed degree. Transcripts and verification of employment will be required.
