GENERAL SUMMARY
As an Occupational Therapist at Proven Behavior Solutions, you will play a crucial role as part of an inter-disciplinary team that follows a collaborative treatment model. The OT provides diagnostic, remedial and consultative services for children with ADL, fine and gross-motor, and access needs. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and ongoing progress assessments
- Collaborate with SLPs and BCBAs to develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions
- Complete assistive technology assessments, recommendations, fittings, and training
- Provide consultation and coaching to Behavior Technicians
- Communicate with parents and other stakeholders regularly
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and interventions.
- Complete clinical documentation for ongoing treatment planning and insurance billing
Qualifications
PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school required
- Interest in working within a collaborative ABA model required
- Experience with working with children with ASD preferred
- Maintaining a valid MA license
- Follow MA State and AOTA ethical guidelines
- CPR/BLS preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong organizational skills
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to occasionally lift children, materials or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, sitting, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
