POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Ensure the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative
maintenance requirements on motors, air systems, conveyor systems, and production machines.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Mechanical troubleshooting
- Hydraulics/pneumatics
- Welding
- Electrical work
- Construction fabrication
- An understanding of the value of a good preventative maintenance program
- Ability to follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, engineering specifications, and good manufacturing policies.
- Maintain a safe clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Work directly with production teams to ensure equipment readiness
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Detail orientated
- Excellent organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- High School diploma minimum
- Constantly stand, bend, and twist for a 10-hour shift
- Constantly push and/or pull
- Continuously use fine dexterity and/or forceful grasping
- Occasionally crawl, kneel, and/or squat
