The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the facility, ensuring a clean, organized, and comfortable environment for all staff. This role involves performing regular inspections, repairs, and maintenance, managing maintenance schedules, and liaising with external vendors and service technicians.
We are looking for A Facility Maintenance Technician with Technical or Vocational training in facilities management They must have a high school diploma or equivalent with proven experience in facilities Maintenance, building management, or related field. This person must have excellent communication skills with the ability to manage the facility maintenance.

Responsibilities:- Oversee the daily maintenance and cleanliness of the facility's interior and exterior.
- Develop and implement quarterly and semi-annual maintenance plans to ensure optimal functioning of all systems within the building.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective measures, as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and vendor services.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for outside vendors, including service technicians, plumbers, and other contracted services.
- Proactively identify maintenance needs and coordinate timely repairs or improvements.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in managing facility-related projects, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
- Foster a positive working environment by promoting cleanliness and organization throughout the facility.
**Additional Duties: **
- Dispatch office – assist customers with obtaining gate passes, keys, and purchased vehicles on sale days
- Occasional pickups of oversized vehicles/buses - may require a Class A license.
- Coordinate set up, and tear down for company luncheons and events.
- Technical or vocational training in facilities management is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, building management, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with staff and external vendors.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance issues.
- Class A license and forklift certification a plus.
