Developmental Pediatrics and Rehabilitation is a portfolio within McMaster Children's Hospital. It is comprised of many different programs providing out- patient services to children (and some adults) with developmental, emotional or behaviourial, physical, or communication needs. The Technology Access Clinic team assesses the needs and abilities of clients from preschool through to geriatrics with a physical diagnosis in order to implement augmentative communication solutions to enhance or replace spoken or written communication.
As a member of an interdisciplinary team, the candidate will provide augmentative communication services to meet the client needs. The Speech-Language Pathologist participates in training, education and research activities to increase knowledge and to develop clinical, analytical and technical skills.

1. Current registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
2. Masters degree in speech-language pathology
3. Individual Authorizer of Augmentative Communication Devices with the Assistive Devices Branch of the Ontario Ministry of Health
4. Experience with augmentative communication strategies and assistive technology
5. Willingness to participate in a criminal reference screening process
6. Fluency in French will be considered an asset
7. Must be able to obtain a valid Vulnerable Sector Screen (VSS)
8. Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle is required.
