The Position
This is an opportunity to join Roche Pharma in Switzerland as a People & Culture Business Partner, supporting the Commercial Pharmaceutical affiliate. In this role, you will act as a strategic leader and P&C expert, translating business priorities into actionable people and culture initiatives to drive organizational effectiveness, leadership development, and cultural advancement.
The Opportunity
As the People & Culture Business Partner, your key responsibilities will be to:
Lead Change & Strategy: Translate the business strategy into P&C strategies for your leadership areas and lead change initiatives to embed P&C solutions.
Be a Strategic Partner: Serve as a strategic sparring partner and coach to business leaders, modeling leadership commitments and embedding the leadership framework.
Innovate with Insights: Leverage data, evidence-based research, and P&C metrics to diagnose complex work environment issues and shape innovative, data-driven solutions.
Advance Culture & Inclusivity: Play a key role in building a high-performing and inclusive culture, fostering psychological safety and a strong sense of belonging for all.
Secure the Future: Be key in securing future talent and capabilities, including leading P&C transformations to ensure the organization is equipped for long-term success.
Drive Interventions: As a change leader, you will diagnose P&C needs and identify effective interventions in areas such as employee engagement, retention, leadership development, and organisational design.
Who You Are
You are a motivated, experienced People & Culture professional with the following qualifications:
P&C Expertise: Possess significant experience in P&C, preferably with some Business Partner experience in a demanding environment.
Strategic & System Thinker: Demonstrate an enterprise mindset and excellent system thinking, with the ability to diagnose short- to mid-term P&C needs and lead large-scale initiatives.
Leadership & Coaching Capability: Embrace VACC (Visionary-Architect-Coach-Catalyst) leadership and have a high level of capability for coaching and mentoring leaders, using inspiration, sensitivity, and the ability to challenge.
Communication & Influence: You are fluent in English and have conversational German, with fluent German being a strong advantage. You are also a strong influencer with courageous authenticity.
Key Attributes: You have a genuine interest in people, build strong connections, have a growth mindset, and are passionate about leveraging technology and data to generate insights.
