As part of Specialty Adult Services, the Endoscopy Units provide a full range of diagnostic procedures for patients with gastrointestinal and respiratory disorders, including pre, intra and post procedural care.
Monday to Friday, days
Some weekends and holidays as needed

- Grade 10 education; must be able to read and write English proficiently
- Completed CSAO Techniques course
- Completed Heart and Stroke Foundation course in CPR ( completed within last 12 months )
- Minimum of 2 years technical experience in a similar role (the handling and care of delicate equipment including endoscopy equipment) within a health care environment
- Steris Certification and Asepsis Course
- Experience maintaining and stocking materials and supplies
- Computer familiarity or willingness to learn computer skills as required
- Working knowledge of Universal Precautions and WHMIS
- Demonstrated effective communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, collaboration and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated initiative and judgment appropriate for the position
- Ability to accept assigned or delegated functions, set priorities and organize work accordingly
- Ability to lift using appropriate lifting techniques and bend, push and pull using good body techniques
