Leal Hospitality is excited to grow our team as we get ready to open Hotel MOHI in downtown Morgan Hill! We’re looking for a hands-on Finish Carpenter & Maintenance Director who will help us keep our properties in top shape and full of character. 

This is a full-time leadership role for someone who takes pride in their craft and enjoys solving problems, fixing things, and making spaces shine. You won’t just be working solo; you’ll be managing and working alongside our already-established in-house maintenance crew, ensuring teamwork and quality across all projects. This role will support Hotel MOHI as well as our properties in Hollister and Morgan Hill that make up the Leal Hospitality family. 

What the job looks like: 

• Performing finish carpentry and detailed repairs that keep our spaces looking their best. 

•  Leading, training, and coordinating the in-house maintenance team, while also working alongside them on day-to-day projects. 

• Handling ongoing maintenance and preventative upkeep — fixing wear and tear before it becomes a problem.

• Being the go-to person for property care, making sure guests always have a great experience.

  Working closely with our local team and trusted vendors to get things done right. 

Qualifications

What we’re looking for: 

• Carpentry experience with a strong attention to detail. 

• General knowledge of building systems, repairs, and property maintenance. 

• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a small team. 

• Must be able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. 

• A self-starter who can manage time well, stay organized, and lead by example. 

• A positive attitude and a commitment to hospitality and community.
