To maintain a well functioning hotel and upkeep of the face and cosmetic appearance of the hotel. Establish programs to prevent breakdowns and follow the preventive maintenance programs
- Maintain the physical appearance of the hotel according to the company’s standard. Skills that are required are painting, drywall, patching, etc.
 - Know emergency procedures for fire, bomb threat, evacuation and medical emergency according to the SOP’s
 - Perform Preventative Maintenance duties according to the SOP’s.
 - Respond as promptly as possible to guest requests for repairs & replacements.
 - Be able to perform carpentry work, wallcovering repairs, tile work, ceiling tile replacement, drywall repair and painting.
 - Be able to measure, calculate and order materials for all projects as required.
 - Be able to take charge of a shift in the absence of the Supervisor.
 - Assist other departments in the hotel to keep equipment in the best possible operating order.
 - Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
 
Experience
- Must have basic knowledge in most areas of hotel maintenance including Preventive Maintenance.
 - Must have strong knowledge in the areas of carpentry, wallcovering repairs, painting, ceiling & floor tile repairs.
 - Must be experience on how to use all hand & power tools related to carpentry.
 - Has been in a Sr. Maintenance level position or equivalent for at least 2 years.
 
Physical Requirements
- Frequent walking, lifting up to 40lbs., bending, stooping, and climbing ladders up to 25’.
 - Ability to work flexible hours (including nights, weekends and holidays
