Job Summary: The Operator will cut/bend pipe and also will cut, channel & angle. Also, operate pipe threading machines.

Functional Job Duties:
Competent use of hand, bench, and machine operations to perform deburring, filing, grinding, and polishing on machined parts.
Understanding of and ability to utilize a tape measure, squaring tools, electronic level, calipers, and micrometers.
Understand tolerances for parts.
Be able to read blueprints and understand tolerances for parts.
Ability to operate machines at peak performance and know how to increase output.
Accuracy with alignment, dimensional, and general inspection requirements. Perform first article inspections and spot inspections of parts to maintain quality.
Interpretations of work orders, blueprints, and bills of materials. Complete and maintain paperwork.
Configure bend allowances for pipe and tubing (stainless, aluminum, and carbon steel).
Be able to prioritize jobs according to the schedule and willing to perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience in a manufacturing setting operations using horizontal automatic band saws, threading machines, and various hand tools.
Prior fabrication experience.
Have the ability to do basic math and read a tape measure, and various other measuring devices .
Mental Requirements:
Must possess strong leadership, analytical thinking, effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with persons inside and outside of the company.
Must have the ability to perform mathematical calculations related to job requirements.
Must be able to work under stress.
Must be able to handle multiple priorities and maintain a heavy workflow.
Must be able to process paperwork effectively.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to go up and down stairs.
Must be able to communicate effectively.
Must be able to do unaccompanied travel.
Must be able to tolerate shop environment and exposures associated with welding and industrial equipment manufacturing, and apply appropriate safety equipment when required.
Must be able to work overtime as required.
Must not present a risk of injury to self or others while engaged in company duties.
