Your New Role:
The Senior Manager, Ent Asset Operations Management will play a pivotal role in managing the Enterprise and IT asset data integrity, quality, and completeness throughout its operational lifecycle. This position is based in Hyderabad and is responsible for leading a team of global physical audit lead analysts, a Software Asset Manager, a Hardware Asset Analyst, a Hardware Asset Manager, and a Physical Audit Coordinator. The role is crucial for ensuring that expected hardware, software, and enterprise assets are validated against the actual WBD estate.
As a key contributor to the Engineering tower, the Dir, Ent Asset Operations Management will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective management and execution of asset operations initiatives. The focus will be on strategic planning, process optimization, and continuous improvement of ITSM practices.
As a key contributor to the team, the Senior Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective management and support of asset operations. The focus will be on asset lifecycle management, data integrity, audit activities, and alignment with enterprise asset strategy.
Your Role Accountabilities:
ASSET LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT
Manage the lifecycle (from onboarding to disposal) of assets across the organization, including recertification.
Collaborate with Procurement and Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM) to ensure accuracy.
Maintain, own, and define the Enterprise Asset Management strategy & roadmap.
Manage stock locations for broadcast assets where appropriate.
Drive and own asset data updates required relating to Merger and Acquisition (M&A) activities.
DATA INTEGRITY & RECONCILIATION
Reconcile asset estate against relevant discovery, inventory, and audit data to identify and correct discrepancies.
Work with the Configuration Management team to identify optimizations to the discovery estate.
Manage critical reference data in the Enterprise Platform including hardware and software models, locations, licenses, and warranties.
Continue to track and report asset information to reflect changes.
Respond to end-user requests for assistance with missing or inaccurate asset data.
AUDIT MANAGEMENT
Conduct internal software and hardware audit activities for all sites and locations according to predefined cycles.
Respond to/facilitate internal and external audit requests from software and hardware vendors, negotiating and agreeing audit settlements.
Generate and validate audit reports for asset physical inventory audit activities.
Adhere to reporting requirements, for finance, audit, analytics etc.
STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Procurement, Asset Owners, M&A Teams, Audit, and wider WBD (e.g. broadcast).
Facilitate communication and collaboration between stakeholders to ensure alignment on asset management initiatives.
Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users to translate requirements and ensure successful implementation of asset management projects.
Work with Configuration Management day-to-day coordination with the team to support data integrity and data expansion activities.
Produce reporting on the metrics tracked by Enterprise Asset Management to showcase value delivered and compliance with agreed standards and policies.
TEAM LEADERSHIP (20%)
Lead and mentor a team of 7 team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
Identify opportunities for professional development and growth for team members.
Qualifications & Experiences:
8+ years of experience in IT Service Management or related fields.
Proven track record of managing asset lifecycle processes and providing support for enterprise asset operations.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to reconcile complex asset data discrepancies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Not Required but preferred experience:
ITIL certification or equivalent.
Experience with ServiceNow and other ITSM tools and platforms.
Familiarity with the media and entertainment industries or experience in a global organization.
