Key Responsibilities: Product Strategy & Development
- Develop and own the national strategy for the Crop Loan product portfolio, including pricing, policy, and product design.
 - Monitor trends in agri-finance, government subsidies (e.g., KCC schemes), and rural credit demand to innovate and optimize product offerings.
 - Design tailored products based on agro-climatic zones, crop patterns, and regional farmer needs.
 
Portfolio Management
- Drive growth in loan volumes, manage yields, NPA levels, and overall portfolio quality.
 - Conduct regular reviews of product performance, customer feedback, and competitor offerings.
 - Collaborate with credit and collections teams to fine-tune risk parameters and recovery strategies.
 
Go-to-Market & Sales Enablement
- Support field teams (Zonal/Regional Managers, Branch Managers) with product knowledge, sales tools, and campaigns.
 - Develop training content and conduct capacity-building programs for the sales force.
 - Design incentive schemes linked to crop loan targets and quality.
 
Digital & Process Innovation
- Collaborate with the digital team to build and refine digital journeys for crop loan application, sanction, and disbursement.
 - Identify opportunities for digitizing field operations and farmer engagement using technology (e.g., mobile apps, satellite data, APIs with government platforms).
 
Stakeholder & Regulatory Engagement
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (legal, risk, compliance, IT, marketing) to ensure seamless implementation of product policies.
 - Represent the bank in meetings with government bodies, NABARD, or regulatory agencies on crop loan-related matters.
 - Monitor and ensure adherence to RBI and NABARD guidelines.
 
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of rural/agricultural lending models and the Indian agri-ecosystem.
 - Knowledge of government subsidy schemes (e.g., PMFBY, KCC).
 - Analytical thinking with strong data-driven decision-making skills.
 - Proven ability to work across cross-functional teams.
 - Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
 
Qualification & Experience:
- MBA in Finance / Agri-Business / Rural Management or equivalent.
 - 8–15 years of experience in product management, rural/agri lending, or retail banking.
 - Experience working in crop loan or related rural finance products is mandatory.
