Weekend X-ray Tech/ CT Tech at BVRMC (Bureau Valley Regional Medical Center)

Work Schedule
Full Time 64hrs per pay period. Weekend package Saturday and Sunday, Holiday and On-call involvement. Opportunity for additional PRN hours.

Provide expert diagnostic radiological imaging procedures to assure a high level of quality care and service to patients, physicians and customers in and outside the Radiology Department. Responsible for general x-ray, C-arm and CT exams and all related office duties and paperwork. 

Duties:

• Demonstrates the ability to perform high quality CT Procedures and Radiographic Procedures
• Operating all radiographic equipment as trained, in a safe manner, and demonstrating competency and care of such equipment
• Follow radiation protection standards for patients, self and others
• Assists with front office/clerical duties when necessary
• Participates in identification of quality and safety concerns
• Assist with supplies/ inventory, cleanliness of department as needed 

Qualifications of Radiologic/CT Technologist

• ARRT(R) Certification
• IDPH permit to practice
• BLS/CPR certified
• Mandatory reporter
• Experience preferred but will consider new graduates
• CT experience preferred
• CT certification is required within two years of hire
