Duties

Support medical personnel and program implementation at DHN MTFs to provide a positive patient experience with a focus on improving patient satisfaction and outcomes.,Provide a consistent authoritative and integrative voice of the DHN that brings policy implementation guidance, operations, protocols and best practices to the field.,Integrate patient experience factors with strategic initiatives to include technology applications and strategic communications.,Analyze data and issues related to the patient experience and customer satisfaction, establishes priorities, researches, develops and implements standardized approaches.,Provide leadership in the training and development of service excellence skills and behaviors which promote a positive patient experience.,Deliver presentations on program status, accomplishments, problems, requirements for support, and promotion of program objectives to senior military officers and civilians.

Who May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes analyzing data related to patient experience and customer satisfaction in a medical treatment facility; interpreting policies or procedures to develop protocols across medical facilities; and providing guidance and advice to senior leaders at a healthcare setting. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
