ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete work orders for painting as determined by supervisor in an efficient manner.
- Perform painting duties in a clean a professional manner by using drop cloths and covers for protection.
- Recommend and select paint colors for various projects.
- Update supervisor on new products.
- Paint walls by removing old paint, repairing damaged areas, prepping walls, and applying new paint.
- Varnish and repair woods doors, miscellaneous wood pieces, and select product finish.
- Maintain a neat and organized shop area and maintain painting tools and equipment.
- Coordinate with other Maintenance Technicians to complete work requests as designated by priority and time.
- Assist other maintenance personnel with scheduled maintenance on building equipment.
- Perform other general maintenance duties as required or requested.
- Avoid the use of hazardous materials.
- Understand and follow directions and/or instructions.
- Must carry a company provided cell phone and be available in the event of an emergency.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 3+ years of related experience and/or training.
- Working knowledge of high-rise building maintenance and operations experience preferred
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS
- Valid Driver’s License
- May be required to obtain TSA badge for access to the Aircraft Hangar
