Job Description Summary
The Supervisor of Telecom Expense Management and Branch Implementation serves as a strategic leader responsible for guiding two critical infrastructure teams. This role ensures operational excellence, financial stewardship, and cross-functional alignment across telecom expense controls and branch deployment initiatives. The Supervisor acts as a key liaison between internal stakeholders, vendors, and leadership, driving performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Telecom Expense Management (TEM):
Oversee invoice processing, credit disputes, and vendor audits.
Ensure timely ordering/disconnection of voice and data services
- Branch Implementation
Supervise planning and execution of branch projects (expansions, relocations, decommissions).
Ensure proper configuration and deployment of network infrastructure (routers, VPNs, switches, telephony).
Manage vendor coordination, compliance, and field support logistics.
- Performance Management:
Build and align individual and team goals with department and firm objectives.
Conduct regular 1:1s to provide coaching, feedback, and career development.
Lead mid-year and end-of-year performance reviews.
Monitor cross-training efforts to ensure skill coverage and team agility.
Track and report on team metrics, workload distribution, and project progress.
- Strategic Engagement
Serve as escalation point for internal and external stakeholders including:
Branch leadership
Corporate Real Estate (CRE)
Vendors and service providers
Internal departments (e.g., RJAS, SNS, CMA)
Participate in firm-wide initiatives, meetings, and strategic planning sessions.
Support hiring and onboarding of new personnel across both teams.
Knowledge and/or Experience in the Following:
Project management
System configuration, installation, and engineering
Writing, analyzing, and interpreting complex technical configuration documents
Zoom telephony and associated configurations
Cisco data networking environments
Palo Alto / Stratacloud environments
Carrier network services for both voice and data
Troubleshooting data and voice equipment and services, including MPLS, SIP, and PRI
Education
Bachelor’s: Computer and Information Science, Bachelor’s: Information Technology, High School (HS) (Required)Work Experience
