Paraprofessional Special Education -Long Term Substitute at Glencoe-Silver Lake Public Schools

We are seeking an individual to join our paraprofessional team at Lakeside Elementary, grades 3-6, to support students' academic and behavioral programming. This position is for 6.5 hours per day, starting  October 10th through December 22nd, 2025.
 Candidates must be willing to work collaboratively with other educators under the direction of a teacher. This position requires individuals to be caring, patient, and focused on achieving individual student goals. Other supervision duties such as lunch/recess may also be required.
 
Occasional lifting of 20 to 40 pounds or more may be required. A high school diploma is required. The school district requires applicants for school district positions who receive an offer of employment to submit to a criminal history background check.
