Pay: $22-30/hourly based on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery, ensuring efficiency and consistent product quality.
- Oversee daily production in assigned area (Machine Room or Sugar Room).
- Follow and enforce GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and company safety standards.
- Lead and train 2–3 temporary employees per shift to ensure smooth production flow.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and mechanical adjustments as needed; identify and report irregular machine noises or malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate records of production and materials used.
- Support material handling activities, including replacing tanks every 90 minutes using a forklift.
- Safely lift and handle ingredient sacks and materials (up to 50 lbs) and occasionally climb ladders in the Sugar Room.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to minimize downtime and maintain high-quality output.
- Be flexible to work additional hours or occasional Saturdays during peak season (approximately 5 Saturdays/year).
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 9+ years of production or manufacturing experience (food or beverage industry preferred but not required).
- Mechanically inclined; able to recognize and diagnose machine performance issues.
- Experience leading or mentoring small production teams.
- Forklift experience required (certification can be provided on-site).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and committed to long-term employment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours during high-demand periods.
- Experience with food production or beverage manufacturing equipment.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Familiarity with GMP and HACCP protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
- Active physical work that includes the ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Continuously walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching in all directions. Includes climbing stairs and ladders.
- Work involves exposure to noise, ingredients, and occasional temperature variations.
- Fully onsite position in Salt Lake City, UT.
