We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team in our Huntsville, AL headquarters as President of one of our wholly owned subsidiaries, S3 International (S3I). The S3I charter is to identify, develop and manage the Foreign Military Sales business performed OCONUS.
Position Description:
The selected individual will provide accountable strategic level leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and personnel systems in place to effectively grow the organization, own the P&L performance of contracts to ensure its financial strength and operating efficiency. Establishes the subsidiary's missions and goals and establishes/maintains the operational culture and ethics to ensure the integrity of the operation. Functions as a member of the senior management team to formulate policies and procedures and evaluate the effectiveness of the company’s tactical and strategic plans.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage profit and loss operations of the S3I and its country specific subsidiaries supporting US Government Foreign Military Sales and direct contract sales operations in host nations abroad
Ensure the health, welfare and security of employees performing permanent duty single and multi-year rotations OCONUS
Ensure training and certification of the S3I workforce as appropriate
Supervise S3I Saudi business entity operations (S3I Arabia, LLC) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the General Manager, of the subsidiary who will report to the selected individual
Develop S3I’s 5 year strategy and business plans to expand teams, partnerships, joint ventures and prime/subcontracts overseas
Develop long term pipeline of opportunities and direct capture management in accordance with S3I business practices, that closely parallel those of S3, the parent company
Supervise internal and external business growth activities that target security assistance opportunities in Europe, Asia, Africa, the middle east, and South America
Ensure S3I complies with ISO 9001:2015, AS9100 and the corporate quality control plan
Lead compliance efforts for International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
Execute profit and loss control accountability for for proposals and bids through contract executions
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a business related field
25 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities identified above
10 years of management experience in aviation programs
3+ years of experience as an industry Program Manager of a DoD or State Department prime contract of a value greater than $100 million
At least 5 years of corporate experience as a Director or Vice President or higher in a company with over $50 million in annual contracts performance
At least 1 year of experience in a company where the quality management system (QMS) was based on ISO 9001:2015 and/or AS9100 international standards
Ability and willingness to travel OCONUS at least 25% of the time
