Manhattan Strategy Group (MSG), a leading management consulting firm, is seeking five Regional Field Staff for an upcoming opportunity to serve as the professional regional program staff for the New York State Career and Technical Education Technical Assistance Center (NYS CTE TAC) operated under contract with the New York State Education Department (NYSED) Office of Education Policy. The Regional Field Staff will serve as serve as the frontline technical assistance team for the NYS CTE TAC.
Under the direction of the Center Project Director or Program Specialists, regional program staff will provide direct support to school districts, BOCES, and postsecondary institutions in implementing high-quality CTE programs aligned with state and federal priorities.

Key Responsibilities 
  • Deliver regional and on-site technical assistance to secondary and postsecondary CTE providers. 
  • Support program approval/reapproval, Perkins V compliance, and local Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment (CLNA) implementation. 
  • Provide professional development to CTE educators on data use, access, and instructional improvement. 
  • Facilitate regional collaboration between education and industry partners to align CTE programs with labor market needs. 
  • Participate in statewide TAC meetings and report regularly to the Project Director and/or Program Specialists on regional activities and outcomes. 
  • Maintain accurate records of technical assistance contacts and evaluation data. 
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with NYS CTE TAC staff and partners. 
Minimum Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in education, CTE, data analytics, communications, or related field. 
  • Minimum of three years of experience in secondary and/or postsecondary education; one year of CTE program experience required. 
  • Demonstrated experience on providing specialized technical assistance to secondary and postsecondary CTE program providers on aspects of CTE program delivery.  
  • Proficiency in data reporting and data use to inform program delivery. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Excellent presentation skills and demonstrated ability to deliver training and technical assistance virtually and in person. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a virtual team environment. 
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with educators, administrators, and business and industry stakeholders. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in project documentation and reporting. 
Preferred Qualifications 
  • Experience implementing or supporting Perkins V plans and initiatives. 
  • Strong understanding of CTE instruction, work-based learning, and Perkins V accountability measures. 
  • Familiarity with New York State Board of Regents policies and CTE regulations. 
  • Willingness to travel regionally (up to 50%) with occasional overnight stays.
