  Position: Long Term Substitute - Grade 2
  Qualifications:
  Strong classroom management skills for working with students 
   A collaborative nature, and a passion for engaging students
   
  Requirements:
  Connecticut teaching certification covering grade 2, preferred
   Experience with elementary aged students
   Strong communication skills
   Collaborative with colleagues 
   
  Responsibilities:
  Plan day to day whole group, small group, and 1:1 instructional opportunities 
   Engage students in learning
   Differentiate instruction
   Monitor student progress
   Maintain excellent records
   Create conditions for student success
   Maintain curriculum operational data demonstrated in Teacher Maps 
   Attend SRBI and Data Team Meetings prepared with accurate data
   Maintain student confidentiality
   
  Term/Duration: To begin on or about December 1, 2025 through mid April 2026
  Salary: The 2025-26 starting rate is $130 per school day.
