Job Description
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing product development projects from conception through completion on time and on budget.  Core job responsibilities include developing project plans including resources and timing, coordinating project activities, tracking project status, and delivering products that meet or exceed specifications.  The PME will act as the liaison between all internal stakeholders including engineering, operations, sales, product management, and executive leadership.  Additional job responsibilities include conducting cross-functional design reviews, assisting with product requirements, and reporting on specified key performance indicators.
Key responsibilities:
•    Develop detailed project plans specifying deliverables, milestones, resources, and timing using project management tools
•    Coordinate project activities amongst cross-functional project team members tracking deliverables to project schedule
•    Ensure project deliverables meet or exceed project specifications
•    Ensure projects are delivered on time and aligned to budgeted costs
•    Collaborate with product management to develop product requirements
•    Host and facilitate design review meetings and stage gate review meetings
•    Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans
•    Prepare and present project status reports to leadership
•    Manage project scope changes and ensure stakeholder alignment
•    Understand complex problems and guide project team to resolution
Candidate Overview
Educational/Experience Requirements:
•    5 – 10 years of project management engineering experience, preferably in manufacturing environments
•    Experience managing product development projects from conception through market launch
•    Experience with project management methodologies including Stage Gate and Agile
•    Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred
•    Proficiency with CAD tools and PM software tools
•    PMP Certification is preferred
