Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries across SQL Server, Oracle, and DB2.
- Architect and implement data warehouse solutions using dimensional modeling (facts & dimensions).
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines using SSIS and Azure Data Factory; adapt to new ETL tools as needed.
- Develop and automate CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
- Create and maintain reporting solutions using Power BI and Tableau.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure data solutions align with business goals.
- Write robust Python scripts for data processing and automation.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing, designing, and maintaining data queries and downstream reporting functions.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining Cloud ETL(ADF), Azure DevOps workflows and data pipelines.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including advanced querying, optimization, and database management.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining visualizations and dashboards in Power BI & Tableau.
- Skills:
- SQL (Backend): Advanced SQL skills including performance tuning and query optimization.
- Data Warehousing: Strong understanding & working expertise of dimensional modeling and data architecture.
- ETL (Integration): Working experience with SSIS, Azure Data Factory, and flexibility to learn new tools.
- DevOps: Proficiency in Azure DevOps and GitHub; ability to build and automate workflows and pipelines from scratch.
- Reporting/Visualization: Expertise in Power BI and Tableau for data storytelling and insights.
- Programming: Strong Python skills for data manipulation and automation.
