Summary:
The Senior Account Executive partners with the industry-leading suppliers to offer best-in-class business solutions that support the commercial viability of AAA’s large network of independent service providers and motor clubs. In partnership with preferred suppliers, this person is responsible for driving success of programs, through marketing and program oversight, measured by generated business volume and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include developing and implementing marketing plans to drive mutual revenue from preferred supplier products and services; launching go-to-market strategy for new preferred supplier programs; managing ongoing supplier relationships; monitoring program performance; and taking corrective action as needed. The right candidate must have an entrepreneurial spirit, creative mindset, and the ability to operate proactively.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Partner with suppliers to develop and execute creative marketing strategies that fuel program demand from campaign planning and co-branded content to strengthen program presence across AAA’s digital platforms.
- Shape value propositions and messaging that connect with AAA Members and Clubs, turning product features into meaningful, benefit-driven stories that resonate across all channels.
- Equip field and marketing teams with tools, talking points, and promotional resources that make programs easy to understand and champion.
- Use CRM insights and dashboards to track engagement and revenue, evaluate performance, and identify opportunities to optimize marketing and partnership strategies.
- Manage communication channels including WordPress and HubSpot to deliver consistent updates, newsletters, and content to clubs and partners.
- Lead the marketing and promotion of preferred supplier programs, identifying new business opportunities and developing compelling materials that strengthen awareness and adoption.
- Serve as a trusted liaison, responding promptly to club, supplier, and service-provider inquiries while ensuring a seamless experience across all touchpoints.
- Collaborate with fellow Account Executives to share best practices, event strategies, and lessons learned across trade shows, conferences, and business development meetings.
- Partner closely with preferred suppliers to set and achieve shared program goals, conducting regular review meetings to measure progress and drive continuous improvement.
- Design and launch new supplier programs or enhance existing ones to deliver even greater value to AAA Members and Clubs.
- Negotiate and renew supplier agreements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and favorable outcomes for all parties.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables, communicating progress clearly and mitigating risks or issues to keep initiatives on track.

- Strong communicator and creative thinker comfortable writing clear, concise marketing copy and leveraging marketing technologies and automation tools (e.g., WordPress, HubSpot).
- Brings fresh ideas and innovative thinking to the table; challenges the status quo to elevate campaigns, improve efficiency, and enhance overall marketing impact.
- Manages time and priorities effectively, anticipates obstacles, adjusts as business needs evolve, and keeps stakeholders informed along the way.
- Collaborative by nature, with the ability to work cross-functionally and build strong partnerships across internal teams and external suppliers.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in account management, supplier relations, or marketing partnerships — ideally within travel, membership, or consumer services industries.
- Experience managing campaigns, supplier programs, or marketing automation tools preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing external partnerships or supplier relationships.
- Proven success in developing and executing marketing strategies and analyzing program performance using CRM and analytics tools.
Hiring Range: $67,750 - $84,010
This position is also eligible for participation in AAA, Inc.'s Annual Incentive Plan.
