Works collaboratively with the Laboratory Informatics Coordinator and clinical departments in problem solving issues, communication, documentation, and in the implementation and maintenance of laboratory systems. Participates in the design and implementation of software. Participates in in-service and computer training of current and in-coming clinical staff and providers.
Qualifications:PRE-HIRE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proof of high school or equivalent or higher education, required
- 3 years’ experience in the field of clinical laboratory science, required
- Strong knowledge and experience in the use of Meditech, required
- Proven strong computer skills
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED PRIOR TO CLEARANCE TO WORK:
- Attendance at New Employee Orientation classroom program
- Aggression Management Training
- Successful completion of Computer-Based orientation
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED PRIOR TO INDEPENDENCE FROM PRECEPTOR:
- Successful completion of orientation skills checklist
