The Senior Human Resources Business Partner functions as a strategic internal HR consultant, delivering strategic support to organizational leaders across business units. This role leverages deep expertise in all major HR disciplines to influence department strategy, guide leadership development, and drive organizational effectiveness. The Senior HRBP partners with Centers of Excellence(CoEs) to implement ministry-wide HR solutions, fosters alignment between business and HR strategy, and supports change management initiatives to build a resilient and high-performing workforce.
Responsibilities
Mentorship
• Serves as a mentor and team lead within the HRBP group; provides coaching, shares expertise, and supports peer development.
Strategic Alignment
• Consults with senior leadership on complex workforce planning, organizational design, and succession initiatives that align with enterprise goals.
• Influences long-term talent strategies by providing insight and guidance based on business needs.
Talent & Performance
• Provides consultation to leaders for the completion of performance reviews.
• Supports performance management and employee relations investigations, ensuring thorough documentation and compliance.
• Acts as a broker of CoE services and HR best practices.
• Maintains a deep knowledge of employment law and HR trends and industry standards.
Engagement & Retention
• Leads initiatives addressing systemic engagement and turnover challenges; coaches leaders to drive cultural improvements.
• Designs and evaluates programs that directly impact employee satisfaction and organizational health.
Operational Excellence
• Ensures HR solutions drive operational efficiency and align with organizational goals.
• Collaborates cross-functionally to deliver scalable HR programs and enhance service delivery.
• Leads and manages strategic initiatives and complex projects within the Business HR(BHR) division of Human Resources.
Qualifications
- 5 years of professional HR experience with 2 years of strategic HR responsibilities as an HR Business Partner
- Bachelor's Degree
- Professional HR Certification (SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) preferred
- Skills and abilities: Advanced consulting and communication skills with an emphasis on strategic influence. Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills, with emerging strategic thinking capability. Effective time management and proficient use of HR technologies and systems. In-depth understanding of employment laws and regulatory compliance (ADA, FLSA, FMLA, EEOC, etc.).
