PACE Coder at None

The PACE Coder is responsible for reviewing medical records, and assigning codes to diagnoses, procedures, and treatments. The Coder also ensures accuracy and compliance with coding guidelines.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

·         Review medical records to assign codes accurately.

·         Ensures compliance with coding guidelines and regulations.

·         Communicate with PACE Primary Care Physicians to clarify documentation.

·         Stays up to date with coding updates and changes.

·         Enters coded data into the Carevention systems.

·         Completes periodic education and training with all clinical staff to ensure proper documentation requirements and compliance.

·         Provides training and education to Nurse Practitioners on coding guidelines and processes.

·         All other duties as assigned.
