The HR Leader will serve as a strategic partner to the business, providing leadership in all aspects of Human Resources across the construction organization. This role will ensure the company attracts, develops, and retains a skilled workforce while promoting a safe, compliant, and engaging workplace culture. The HR Leader will partner closely with executives, project managers, site supervisors, and employees to deliver HR programs that support both operational excellence and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, aligning HR strategy with business goals in sales, operations, production, field services, and corporate functions.
Partner with project leaders to forecast workforce needs, build succession planning, and address skills gaps.
Champion initiatives that strengthen culture, engagement, and retention across field and office environments.
Employee & Labor Relations
Oversee onboarding programs to ensure new hires are trained for safety, compliance, and productivity from day one.
Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and investigations with fairness and consistency.
Support supervisors and managers with coaching, performance management, and policy interpretation.
Compensation, Benefits & Compliance
Ensure competitive pay practices, while maintaining equity and compliance.
Manage benefits administration and employee wellness programs tailored for field workers and remote teams.
Maintain compliance with employment laws, prevailing wage requirements, and industry-specific regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master’s/HR certification preferred).
10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (homes services industry strongly preferred).
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws (including prevailing wage, OSHA, and EEO compliance).
Proven ability to partner with operational leaders in dynamic, project-driven environments.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Hands-on and adaptable, able to navigate between field sites and corporate offices.
