Luminator is seeking to fill our full-time Network & Cloud Engineer role to join our growing and dynamic IT support team where you will be an integral part of the organization.

What You’ll Do:
The IT Operations Network & Cloud Engineer will be part of a team working to expand a strong and proven concept that has solid growth potential, with the opportunity to create substantial shareholder value. You will be responsible for leading and supporting our hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure. This role is hands-on and cross-functional, spanning cloud provisioning, network and security operations, server management, identity governance, and automation. The IT Operations (Network & Cloud) Engineer is a key contributor to our infrastructure reliability, security posture, and operational excellence.

What You’ll Bring to the Team
Qualifications:
  • Cloud (AWS/Azure): Provision and manage VPC/VNet networking, IAM/Entra ID, security groups/NSGs, load balancers, VPN/PrivateLink/ExpressRoute/Direct Connect, storage/backup, and monitoring/alerts.
  • Network & Security: Configure and maintain firewalls, site-to-site and remote access VPN, web/app policies, IPS/ATP, SSL/TLS, SD-WAN; manage enterprise switches (VLANs, trunking, LACP), Wi-Fi, DHCP/DNS.
  • Servers & Virtualization: Build and harden Windows/Linux servers; manage hypervisors; implement standard images, patching, and config baselines.
  • Identity & Access: Enforce least-privilege across IAM/Entra ID/AD; manage SSO/MFA and role-based access.
  • Observability: Own logging/metrics/alerts (CloudWatch/Azure Monitor/Syslog/SIEM); tune actionable alerts and on-call runbooks.
  • Backup/DR: Operate backups, test restores and maintain DR procedures (RPO/RTO targets).
  • Security Hygiene: CIS benchmark hardening, vulnerability remediation, endpoint protection, manage certificate lifecycle.
  • Automation: Script routine ops (PowerShell/Bash/Python). Infra as Code (Terraform) is a plus.
  • Change/Incident Mgmt: Follow ITIL-light processes: tickets, change records, post-mortems with remediation.

ABILITIES

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Hands-on with various firewall brands (policy design, VPNs, SSL decryption, HA, logging) and central management.
  • Solid AWS and/or Azure foundations: networking, security, identity, and core services.
  • Strong networking: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing (static/OSPF/BGP basics), LACP, VPN/IPsec/SSL.
  • Windows Server & Linux admin (AD/Entra basics, patching, hardening, services).
  • Practical security mindset: MFA, least-privilege IAM, key/secrets management, CIS/secure baselines.
  • Scripting ability (PowerShell and/or Bash; Python nice to have).
  • Clear documentation chops and experience in change/incident processes.

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field preferred. Significant full-time employment experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience:  At least 5 years of experience in IT operations or infrastructure engineering with mixed cloud/on-prem.
Certificates & Licenses:  AWS/Azure Associate/Professional, Network+/CCNA highly preferred.
