Penn E&R is seeking a full-time Civil Engineer (mid-level). While you will be based out of our Doylestown, PA office, we offer hybrid/work-from-home opportunities. You will have the opportunity to perform a wide range of tasks across all of Penn E&R’s market sectors and be expected to perform both office-based and field-based assignments.
Qualifications include:
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field
Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within 1 year preferred
4 to 7 years of civil engineering experience
Work experience in the following is a plus:
Hydrology and hydraulics
Erosion and sediment controls
Stormwater management controls
Land Development/Site Design
AutoCAD Civil 3D
Applicable work experience for this role includes:
Provide technical guidance for the preparation of site plans, erosion and sediment control plans, post-construction stormwater management plans, and land development/subdivision plans
Environmental Permitting (PA Chapter 102, 105)
Hydrologic and hydraulic calculations
Erosion and sediment control design
Stormwater management calculations
Post-Construction Stormwater Management BMP design
AutoCAD/Civil 3D and standard drafting techniques and applications with experience in the preparation of the following:
Creating 3-D surfaces
Grading plans
Profiles/cross-sections
Pipe networks and corridors
Working with Project Managers to coordinate with clients and prepare proposals
Ability to work with and guide Junior staff in the successful completion of tasks
