The Role
Under the guidance of leadership, this person will be responsible for using their analytics expertise in providing a variety of tasks in the form of, but not limited to:
Build and maintain SQL queries, data pipelines, and quality checks to source/prepare RM & Distribution datasets
Use Hyatt’s approved Generative AI operating model and tools to speed exploratory analysis, summarize insights, and prototype workflows while following governance.
Produce recurring dashboards and self‑serve reporting (Tableau/Power BI/ThoughtSpot); document definitions and refresh cadence.
Execute ad‑hoc analyses and deep dives on pricing, demand, channel mix, and campaign performance; summarize clear, actionable recommendations.
Support experimentation and measurement (pilots/A‑B tests), including test design support, tracking, and readouts.
Partner with CS Analytics, RM, and Distribution stakeholders to gather requirements, develop user stories, support UAT, and close feedback loops.
Monitor data quality and platform health; triage issues, escalate as needed, and maintain runbooks/playbooks.
Contribute to documentation (data dictionary, SOPs) and enablement (how‑to guides, office hours, training) to drive adoption.
Experience Required:
3–5 years of experience (including internships/co‑ops) in analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, or business analysis.
Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills; ability to structure ambiguous problems and validate results with attention to detail.
Practical experience with SQL and advanced Microsoft Excel for data preparation, analysis, and QA.
Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, ThoughtSpot) and comfort building clean, reliable dashboards.
Basic knowledge of statistics/experiment design and an interest in revenue management, pricing, or distribution analytics.
Clear written and verbal communication; ability to translate technical findings into business‑friendly insights.
Knowledge of the hospitality industry is a plus, not a requirement.
Experience Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Data/Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Hospitality) or equivalent practical experience.
Experience using generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) within governance guidelines.
Nice to have: basic Python or R, Git, and familiarity with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Azure).

The pay range for this position is $32.82/hour-$41.02/hour.
The final pay rate offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
