To be successful in this position, the Peer Recovery Specialist must have lived experience with substance use and be in active recovery (two or more years). Position Details
Provide quality services that facilitate recovery and wellness for people living with substance use concerns. Services are client-centered, delivered in the home/community, and include case management, support, and sharing of personal history with and knowledge of substance use and mental health recovery. Positive outcomes are achieved through purposeful and respectful relationships rooted in trauma-informed care, hope, and evidence-based research.

Position Requirements
- Proven ability to address the recovery needs of individuals
- Proven ability to share personal recovery journey in a supportive way, even if the recovery path is different from that of the client
- Valid Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and clean driving history
- Current certification as a Peer Recovery Coach or ability to pursue the certification
