Job Summary
Comcast Business Mobile is a key product in the overall Comcast Business solution for small business customers. Our product management team helps in developing and launching solutions that meet and exceed customer needs. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to steer products from inception to market, ensuring they align with our business goals and customer expectations.We are seeking a Sr. Manager of Product Strategy who is deeply motivated and brings proven experience to our energetic team. This individual will play an important role in bolstering the strategic expansion of our business mobile product. The product strategy lead will set the strategic vision for wireless products, drive cross-functional alignment, and manage the product lifecycle.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Define and communicate a clear wireless product vision to gain consensus and energize leaders across the company including corporate & engineering leadership, product experience owners, and business, marketing, and field leadership.
- Utilize value based models to evaluate new pricing structures and meet profitability and growth targets.
- Evaluate and ensure the viability of new product ideas in the context of the organization's strengths and capabilities, production capability, quality, costs and marketplace demands.
- Work with enablement teams to ensure product differentiation and benefits are all aligned across all experiences.
- Ensure a data-driven approach to your products, defining critical metrics that gather customer and business value upfront and continually optimizing against those metrics.
- Synthesize insights across existing and emerging consumer behaviors, market research, competitive landscapes, technology trends, and internal business performance to inform product strategies.
- Articulate a clear vision that ignites passion using clear decision making, user insight and data analysis.
- Align product claims for in-market messaging.
- Be on-site in Philadelphia or Denver office 4-days per week
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Generally requires 10+ years related experience
- Background in consulting, product strategy , business development, finance, or corporate strategy
- Experience in the telecommunications or wireless industry is a plus
- Experience leading cross-functional or matrixed organizations is a plus
- Has superior strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and is capable of clearly communicating a long-term vision across the company and executive stakeholders
- Be comfortable with financial modeling and unstructured analytical data with exceptional business and financial acumen
- Natural collaborator, with excellent communication skills and strong executive presence
- Ability to derive strategic insights in the face of complex and often incomplete information
- Deep interest and understanding of consumer tech products and product lines
- Self-starter with ability to quickly grasp complex subject matter
