We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Handpiece Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience assembling, rebuilding, and repairing all brands and types of pneumatic and electric dental handpieces and attachments. This position requires precision, technical aptitude, and a strong commitment to quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble a variety of dental handpieces (high-speed, low-speed, electric, and attachments).
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or component replacements.
• Test and calibrate equipment to ensure proper functionality and compliance with performance standards.
• Maintain accurate repair records and documentation.
• Follow established quality control and safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding repair status or technical issues.
• Stay current on new models, technologies, and repair techniques across all major brands.

Requirements

• Previous experience in dental handpiece repair or small mechanical/electrical assembly preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• High attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage time efficiently.
• Basic computer skills for recordkeeping and communication.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with both pneumatic and electric handpieces (KaVo, NSK, Midwest, Star, Bien-Air, etc.).
• Familiarity with micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
• Knowledge of dental equipment and industry standards.
