The Maintenance Technician 3 is responsible for assisting in all general facility maintenance and involved in machinery maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Read flowcharts, service manuals and technical references.
- Oversee daily repairs of all CNC and related equipment.
- Advanced skills in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical units, computer controls, PLC’s and electrical controls for machinery.
- Have advanced skills and strong working knowledge of multiple CNC machine tools and controls. g. Mori Seiki - Mitsubishi controls, DMG – Siemens controls.
- Remain current on skills and knowledge of manual and advanced machine repairs.
- Prepare assessments on equipment to avoid downtime.
- Ability to write and modify PM and procedure documentation.
- Work closely with Maintenance Supervisor and Facilities Maintenance and Reliability Coordinator to conduct risk. assessment of critical equipment and timelines
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the complex flowcharts and schematics documents.
- Diagnose and repair machine tooling as needed.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Trade schools or Vocational Tech training course
- Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment
- Must have strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret simple flowcharts and schematics documents.
- Ability to respond effectively to emergency repairs as needed.
- Must be able to follow written procedures and instructions to repair and adjust equipment.
- Utilize the existing ERP/CMMS integrated modules to maintain data integrity material inventory.
- Use ERP/CMMS to complete preventive maintenance documentation as required.
