Join a team where safety, sustainability, and innovation come together to make a real impact. At Hitachi Energy in Jefferson City, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HSE Admininstrator to help drive our Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) initiatives forward. This role is essential to maintaining a robust management system that supports our people and operations.

You’ll be at the heart of our HSSE efforts—tracking performance, supporting training, managing documentation, and helping coordinate impactful events. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy making a difference through organization and collaboration, this is your chance to grow with a global leader in energy solutions.

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Enter and manage data for incidents, audits, and hazard reports

  • Track and report HSSE performance metrics using spreadsheets and databases

  • Monitor training completion and maintain training records

  • Issue certifications for authorized employee training (e.g., forklift, hazardous materials)

  • Update HSSE documents and post physical copies when needed

  • Support planning and execution of HSSE events (e.g., flu clinics, blood drives)

  • Manage contractor qualification records and badge access systems

  • Generate reports from powered industrial truck impact monitoring systems

Your Background

  • Experience with SharePoint, MS Word, Excel, and database systems

  • Strong organizational skills and self-motivation

  • Clear and effective communication abilities

  • CPR, AED, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogen certification (training provided)

  • Four-year degree in a relevant field preferred but not required

  • Ability to provide short-term shift coverage with notice

More About Us

  • You’ll have opportunities to grow your career through training, mentorship, and global collaboration

  • We’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone belongs
