The Ames High School coaching staff is seeking an Associate Boys Wrestling Coach for the 2025-26 season.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

Assists Head Coach in running a competitive wrestling program.
Follows and maintains knowledge of all District policies and procedures.
Abides by strict confidentiality at all times.
Attends work on a consistent and punctual basis.
Creates a sense of belonging and welcoming environment for all athletes, parents, and staff.
Assists with other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

A current Iowa Department of Education coaching authorization or coaching endorsement.
Concussion certification
Wrestling coaching experience preferred

Compensation: $1,414 season stipend
