MMSD is seeking qualified candidates for the position of ITS Systems Analyst in the Information Technology Services Division. Reporting to the ITS Application Manager, you will analyze, design, develop, implement, and maintain MMSD's software systems. You also will oversee minor projects for ITS-related efforts and act as a back-up to the ITS Senior Systems Analyst and the ITS Senior Database Administrator.
Position Duties
- Assist with Microsoft 365 (M365) administration and coordinate the security and identity management. Develop solutions within the M365 suite, analyze business needs, recommend technologies, and guide testing and deployment.
- Assist with Microsoft licensing and the Microsoft Azure platform. Monitor Microsoft updates, evaluate impacts, and implement change management.
- Develop and manage project specifications, technical designs, and requirements. Coordinate work with cross-functional teams and facilitate discussions among stakeholders to set timelines, milestones, and deadlines.
- Assist with database administration for applications on SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL platforms. Ensure database integrity and stability and modify database structures as necessary.
- Design and develop custom applications using .NET, Access, Azure Webapps, PowerShell, and purchased software. Create and maintain interfaces for data transfer between applications.
- Provide support and innovation for Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, maintain training materials, create documentation, and support end-user training.
- Develop and lead software training sessions. Provide technical support, address user questions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure application performance.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology sciences or a related field.
- Two years of job-related experience (advanced education degrees will be considered in lieu of experience).
- Knowledge of hardware and software.
- Training and experience in system designing, developing, and supporting software systems.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Compelling written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and support a wide range of technologies.

Physical Requirements:
- This work requires the occasional exertion of up to 10 lbs. of force.
