Description

Role:  Development and Communications Assistant 

Reports to: Development and Communications Manager 

Employment:  Hourly, Non-Exempt, 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week) 

Salary Range: $23/hr 

Schedule: Monday – Friday; between 7:30am – 6:00pm, some evenings & weekend work 

Location: Quest Center – Multnomah. Remote and onsite/hybrid schedule, up to manager’s discretion 

Travel: Some local travel may be required to meet staffing needs 


POSITION SUMMARY:  


  
As our Development and Communications (DevCom) Assistant, you will aid and support our DevCom Department in regular ongoing projects, as well as ad-hoc and one-off projects. This position requires excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple short- and long-term objectives, foster an agency-wide culture of community, and maintain a calm, pleasant, and professional demeanor. The DevCom Assistant will perform a broad range of tasks and will develop unique working relationships across teams at Quest.   


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  
 


  • Perform data entry for donation admin and maintain current and accurate donation records, including CRM maintenance, 

  • Assist with creation, posting, and scheduling of Social Media postings, newsletters, website updates, and event communications,  

  • Assist with set up and organization of Podcasts, press coverage, and events,  

  • Collaborate with Merch and Brand design, including ordering, inventory, and distribution of orders,  

  • As a member of our Events Committee, you will play a vital role in the brainstorming, organizing, and creation of Events and Fundraising efforts,  

  • Collaborate with the DevCom Department and internally to boost staff and client buy in and participation in DevCom activities, 

  • Solicit, develop, grow, and maintain, partnerships and donor relations, including in-kind donations, sponsorships, and other DevCom partnerships,
