A kind and caring family of four is seeking a full-time, live-in weekend nanny to care for their two children, aged 2-months-old and 6-years-old. The typical schedule will be Friday through Sunday, but the candidate will receive a full-time salary as the family expects the candidate to be available Monday through Friday when they travel for vacations and on non-school days (private school calendar). With this in mind, they will pay the candidate a full-time salary to ensure their availability.
The family have a nanny Monday through Friday, and there may be a crossover on a Friday. You would also be required to cover for the weekday nanny when she is on vacation. Mom is very involved with the children and is at home throughout the day, and enjoys working closely with the nanny.
The candidate's schedule would begin at around 6.30pm on a Friday and they would be on call over the entire weekend, finishing at 7.30pm on a Sunday. Their youngest son is currently cared for throughout the night by a night nurse, but when she leaves, the weekend candidate will take over if needed.
They are an active family who love the outdoors, and would like the candidate to be like-minded.
Responsibilities:
- Everything related to the care of the children, including but not limited to, children' laundry, organizing and tidying the children's rooms, and cooking
- Preparing healthy meals for the children
- Maintaining an engaging and active environment
- Planning activities and outings
- Ability to set boundaries and follow the parents' preferences as they want to work as a team with the nannies
- Support bath and bedtime routines
- A nanny who is patient, loving, active, and has an energetic attitude
- Ability to engage children in fun, creative activities that support their development
- A patient, loving, and nurturing demeanor
- CPR and First Aid certification, or willing to obtain one
- Driver is required when in Jackson Hole
- Spanish-speaking would be a bonus
- Previous live-in experience is a plus
- Live-in during the weekends
- Willing to travel to Jackson Hole, WY and other destinations when the family are on vacation
- Valid US work authorization
