As we prepare for national expansion and the decade ahead—including a new website, a first-ever brand campaign, and growing partnerships with adaptive sports leaders—NAC’s marketing team is building the structure to support scalable, performance-driven growth.


We are seeking a Marketing Manager to bridge strategy and execution—owning NAC’s digital marketing pipeline, managing agency and vendor relationships, and ensuring campaigns convert interest into enrollment, donations, and national visibility. This is a mid-level leadership role designed for a hands-on marketer who thrives at the intersection of the NAC’s core mission, data, storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration.


Job Summary:

The Marketing Manager oversees NAC’s digital performance marketing, email automation, and participant/donor conversion strategy. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this role manages key channels, vendor partners, and performance reporting—ensuring the department delivers measurable impact against enrollment, fundraising, and brand goals. The Marketing Manager also supports brand activations, corporate partnerships, and cross-department initiatives, serving as a key link between strategic vision and on-the-ground execution. This is a full-time, year-round position with benefits. This is an in-person role with a requirement to be on-site 5 days per week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to support events and project deadlines.


Essential Duties:

Digital Marketing & Campaign Management 

• Manage and optimize NAC’s paid media, email marketing, and automation programs.

• Plan and execute campaign calendars aligned with program enrollment, fundraising, and brand initiatives.

• Coordinate audience segmentation and journey design across paid, owned, and earned channels.

• Manage deliverables tied to corporate partnerships, program activations, ambassador campaigns, and grants (in partnership with Development Team).


Analytics & Reporting

• Maintain and interpret NAC’s analytics dashboards to measure campaign performance and website engagement.

• Translate data into actionable insights to improve marketing efficiency and conversion outcomes.

• Partner with the Marketing Director to present results and trends to leadership.


Brand Activation & Outreach 

• Support on-site brand activations, program events, and community outreach as a visible NAC representative.

• Coordinate logistics and collateral for event-related marketing efforts.

• Capture feedback and insights from participants, volunteers, and partners to inform marketing strategy.


Creative & Content Production

• Create light design assets (ads, flyers, email templates, and other marketing collateral) using Canva or similar tools.

• Collaborate with the Content & Social Media Specialist to ensure brand consistency across visual and written materials.

• Manage freelancers and creative agencies for specialized or overflow design, video, or campaign production needs.

• Maintain NAC’s marketing asset library and support creative production timelines.


Administration & Continuous Improvement

• Act as day-to-day manager for agencies, contractors, and freelancers supporting design, paid media, or web projects.

• Represent marketing in cross-departmental meetings (Programs, Development, Operations) where campaign execution and participant pipeline planning are required.

• Oversee marketing budget tracking, invoices, and vendor contracts in coordination with the Marketing Director.

• Document campaign processes and standard operating procedures to build organizational continuity.

Requirements

  

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4+ years of professional marketing experience, with at least 2 years in performance/digital marketing or demand generation.

• Demonstrated success managing paid media campaigns with measurable ROI.

• Hands-on experience with email automation platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, or equivalent).

• Strong data analysis and reporting skills; fluency in GA4 or similar analytics platforms.

• Experience managing agencies, contractors, or cross-functional projects.


Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and proven experience.

• Nonprofit, sports, outdoor, or adaptive industry background.

• Experience with Looker Studio or BI dashboards.

• Experience creating marketing collateral in Canva or similar design platforms.

• Previous management or supervisory experience (interns, coordinators, or agency teams).

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to connect with participants, their families, donors, agency partners, and other key stakeholders.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with accessibility best practices for digital campaigns.

• Knowledge of Atomic Design content systems or modular campaign workflows.

• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.

• Strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit to accommodate multiple responsibilities and shifting priorities in a quick-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to safely lift up to 30 lbs. when needed to assist with capturing content or while assisting with program equipment.

• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions, including extreme weather conditions.

• Occasional travel to Moab and other outreach event locations is required.
