Northrop Grumman Advanced Weapons has an opening for an Electromechanical Design Engineer Level 4 with an active clearance, to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals that will support our SiAW new air-to-ground missile program.
The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility in Northridge, CA. Relocation assistance, while not guaranteed, may be available.
Candidates will validate and implement design changes utilizing CAD software and PLM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable seeing a project from initial concept to production release with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include thorough review of cable designs and drawings, hands on cable build support including background for design for manufacturing. 3D modeling, drafting, and completion of change documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Subject matter expert in CAD design using Creo
- Familiar with Creo cabling tool
- Familiar with Creo best practices
- Familiar with creo 9 or 7
- Expected to train existing and new team members on best practices and implement new training
- Expect to mentor others EPLM (Teamcenter) experience is preferred.
