Ursinus Fund Assistant

Reporting to the Assistant Director for the Ursinus Fund, the Ursinus Fund Assistant plays a key role in supporting alumni engagement and fundraising initiatives. This position involves strategic digital communications, administrative coordination, and event support to enhance donor relations and promote participation in the Ursinus Fund. The assistant collaborates across departments to ensure the success of annual giving campaigns and alumni outreach effort.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curate and manage digital content across Facebook and Instagram with the Assistant Director.
  • Plan, schedule, and publish social media campaigns that align with the digital engagement strategy of the Ursinus Fund and broader advancement team efforts.
  • Contribute to the creation of digital content, including graphics, videos, and storytelling pieces that highlight alumni impact and connection to Ursinus College.
  • Track and analyze performance metrics for social media and email campaigns, providing insights to improve outreach and engagement. 
  • Assist in the production of email communications for alumni engagement and Ursinus Fund campaigns by inputting copy into formatted templates, making edits, proofreading, and scheduling emails under the advisement of the Assistant Director.
  • Populate and maintain communications timelines and campaign schedules in the department calendar to ensure the team can stay informed and meet project deadlines.
  • Record alumni interactions and engagement data in Raiser’s Edge, supporting accurate reporting for alumni engagement index.  
  • Support signature initiatives such as Family Weekend, Homecoming, and other campus fundraising events.
  • Assists with Ursinus Fund campaigns via GiveCampus platform, and supports fundraising initiatives by helping with outreach, stewardship, and event coordination. Other duties as assigned in support of advancement office initiatives.
