We are hiring a Medical Director to work in Lancaster, Camp Hill, and Ephrata!
Schedule:
- Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 5am-1:30pm - Lancaster
- Thursday 5am-1:30pm - Camp Hill
- Friday 5am-1:30pm - Ephrata
ARS Treatment Centers specialize in outpatient treatment of those addicted to opiates. Our clinic is one of ten locations in the mid-Atlantic region that provides specialized outpatient services through medication-assisted treatment.

Position Description
The Medical Director is responsible for and is the ultimate authority for the ordering, dispensing, and administration of Methadone and Suboxone in accordance with all application Federal and State Laws and Regulations. The Medical Director ensures the medical department meets the medical needs of the clients, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversees medical care for ARS Lancaster, Camp Hill, and Ephrata
- Ensures persons seeking treatment have access to medical evaluation and if appropriate, admitted to treatment.
- Completes admissions, annual exams, and patient follow up appointments as needed.
- Orders Methadone and Suboxone in accordance with federal and state regulations, ARS policies and industry best practices.
- Supervises either directly or indirectly any physician, physician’s assistant and/or nurse practitioner.
- Ensures all information obtained during the course of physical examinations, laboratory results and other diagnostic evaluations are duly recorded in all patient records.
- Ensures all physical examinations are completed, certifying each applicant is eligible for narcotic treatment.
- In conjunction with the Executive Director, ensures that a 24-hour emergency contact is available.
- Attends treatment team meetings.
- Be proficient with State Licensure Standards, CARF Standards, 42 CFR and HIPAA standards and Company policies.
Qualifications
- Licensed MD in PA
- Must have DEA license
- Addiction experience preferred
- Meet all state OTP licensing requirements
- Training or experience in treating persons with opiate addiction
- ASAM Certified or have successfully completed or will complete within one year, a course of study in opiate addiction that is approved by the Department of Health per State regulations
