K–12 Summer Discovery Coordinator – 2025 Summer Learning Program

Willard Public Schools is seeking an experienced, dynamic educator to serve as the K–12 Summer Discovery Coordinator. This position provides leadership, organization, and oversight for the district’s Summer Learning Program, ensuring high-quality instruction, strong community partnerships, and a positive experience for students and staff.

Stipend: $6,500
Schedule: 21 days of Summer School plus 4 planning days (to be scheduled between December and May at your discretion)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible educational experience

• Administrative Certification preferred

• Must pass a satisfactory background check

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all aspects of the Summer Discovery Program, including planning, scheduling, staffing, and logistics

• Collaborate with the Director of Communications to design and implement marketing and recruitment strategies

• Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations to enhance learning opportunities

• Supervise staff, manage budgets and resources, and ensure compliance with district and state policies

• Resolve issues and facilitate communication among staff, students, and families

• Prepare reports, documentation, and program evaluations to support continuous improvement
