The Role
The VP, Human Resources will deliver HR services and lead compensation, workforce strategy, diversity, learning and organizational development initiatives supporting the Fidelity Digital Assets® and Alternative Investment organizations. Expectations of this role are high and include providing trusted advice and counsel to senior leaders, delivering sophisticated solutions to complex issues in an ambiguous environment, and challenging the status quo to provide ever better products and services to leaders and associates. This role will report to the Head of HR for Brokerage. This is a people management role leading the HR Team supporting Fidelity Digital Assets® and Alternative Investments. As a people manager, you will have the opportunity to advise, develop, challenge, and learn from HR Business Partners supporting various organizations.
You will participate in talent management initiatives to identify, assess, develop, engage, and reward high potential talent and ensure development solutions are in place to build capability vital for future leaders of the business. The Brokerage HR team is committed to executing a talent strategy and key priorities to increase organizational performance and effectiveness.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
12-15+ years of HR business partner experience with key areas of focus including organizational design, workforce planning, coaching, performance management, organizational change, and associate engagement efforts.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Serve as trusted advisor to senior level executives in developing strategic recommendations and implementing solutions to complex issues. Ability to listen, influence, build, and maintain working relationships, and deliver results. Provide situational coaching and feedback to senior leaders in the business unit.
Display analytical capability to translate workforce, competitive, and other data into strategy, decision-making and business results. Facility with interpreting data, recognizing trends and themes, and advising with the business using measures and results. Experience influencing executive teams on implications of internal and external business trends and issues that influence talent or operating environments.
Decisive decision-making skills and comfort working in a fast-paced, fluid environment. Broad knowledge of the businesses in which we compete, and the current and future talent needs of those businesses.
Outstanding communication, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving capabilities. Demonstrated success in public speaking, communicating within a hybrid working environment; ease with communication technology (Zoom, Teams, etc) to deliver powerful messages. Ability to build compelling written communication and presentations.
Build relationships across Brokerage and the HR function to learn and employ the best practices to ensure our associates are positioned for success – planning, hiring, training, mentoring, and developing them to meet significant business goals.
Partner to develop strategy and implement programming that educates all levels of associates on key D&I concepts and goals. Counsel leaders on critical performance-related situations and their business implications
People management of multiple HR Business Partners who are supporting Brokerage groups. Demonstrable ability to identify vital skills and ability to develop talent and build community among the HR team.

The base salary range for this position is $125,000-258,000 USD per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
