Job Description
The primary function of the Health Unit Coordinator - Birthing Center is interpretation, transcription and assistance in the implementation of orders for all aspects of patient care. The Health Unit Coordinator serves as the primary receptionist for the nursing unit and coordinates communication among nursing staff, physicians, other departments, professional staff, patients and families. In addition, the Health Unit Coordinator maintains adequate supplies for the nursing unit and may request service for the maintenance of unit equipment.

- High school diploma or GED equivalent
