Job Description
The University of Pittsburgh School of Business is seeking an Assistant to Chaired Professors. The assistant will provide secretarial assistance to several faculty members. The assistant will provide support through maintaining faculty budgets and drafting reports; renewing annual memberships; updating faculty credentials over various platforms; scheduling support and calendar management; drafting and editing letters of recommendation, grant letters, and other written communication; website updates; event planning; making travel arrangements; and general clerical support with course-related tasks such as making copies, entering grades and arranging for course packets. This position requires considerable knowledge of office practices and University policy and procedures. Extensive use of PC and various software packages (MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, social media platforms and PRISM/Oracle System. Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must. High level of detail and time management skills are crucial.

Physical Effort
Position is generally sedentary. Occasional lifting of heavy objects may be required. Traveling on campus may be required to attend appointments or events.
